Introduction Of JLPT

The Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) is an internationally recognized assessment that evaluates and certifies the Japanese language proficiency of non-native speakers. Established in 1984, the JLPT is administered worldwide to accommodate the growing number of Japanese language learners.​

Exam Levels

The JLPT comprises five levels, ranging from N5 (beginner) to N1 (advanced):​VerbalPlanet

  • N5: Basic understanding of some everyday expressions and phrases.​
  • N4: Ability to comprehend and use familiar daily expressions and basic phrases.​
  • N3: Capacity to understand and use Japanese in everyday situations to a certain degree.​
  • N2: Proficiency in understanding Japanese used in everyday situations and various circumstances to some extent.​
  • N1: Advanced ability to comprehend Japanese in a wide range of contexts.​

Exam Structure
