What is PET?

Duolingo English Test (DET)
What is DET?
An online English proficiency test widely accepted by universities. It is taken from home with AI-based monitoring.

- Adaptive test (45 mins) – Measures reading, writing, listening, and speaking skills.
- Video interview & writing sample (10 mins).

100% online – taken anytime, anywhere.

Pearson Test of English (PTE)

What is PTE?

Exam Structure
- Speaking & Writing (54-67 mins) – Includes reading aloud, essay writing, and summarizing text.
- Reading (29-30 mins) – Tests comprehension through multiple-choice, fill-in-the-blanks, and reordering paragraphs.
- Listening (30-43 mins) – Includes summarizing spoken text, multiple-choice, and dictation.
Where is PTE available?
PTE is conducted in 50+ countries, including Karachi, Pakistan (authorized Pearson test centers).
