Introduction Of DELF

The Diplôme d’Études en Langue Française (DELF) is an official certification awarded by the French Ministry of Education to validate the French language proficiency of non-native speakers. Recognized globally, the DELF diploma is valid for life and serves as a testament to one’s French language skills

Exam Structure

The DELF exam aligns with the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR) and is divided into four levels:​

  1. A1 and A2: Beginner levels​GlobalExam
  2. B1 and B2: Intermediate levels

Each exam assesses four key language skills

  1. Listening Comprehension
  2. Reading Comprehension
  3. Writing Production
  4. Speaking Production and Interaction

Candidates must achieve a minimum score of 50 out of 100, with at least 5 points in each section, to be awarded the diploma.​
